Our journey began years ago but really hit the rough waves when our beautiful Sheila was diagnosed with mammary cancer at just 5 years old. Even the vets were surprised by how young she was.

After the vets confirmed the lumps might be cancer I started taking my already keen interest in nutrition for my dog's health more seriously.

 

We took both of our dogs off the "premium" kibble and started feeding home-cooked meals. It was surprisingly hard to find a nutritionally complete recipe online.

 

We were lucky because we caught, and had the cancer removed in the early stages. We're really stoked that Sheila has recovered with even more energy and zest for life than she had before.

 

Now I want to share what I've learned and my passion for dog nutrition with others, empowering people to take their dog's nutrition and health seriously.
